What equipment do I need to use the WHERE service?

Your mobile phone must be able to send and receive text messages, and your wireless carrier must provide you with text messaging service.

How much will I be charged to use WHERE on my mobile phone?

Your mobile carrier may charge you standard text messaging rates, based on your contract. Premium services fees vary. Please visit the Virgin or Sprint pages for pricing.

How do I use the service?

Basic Service: It's easy...just send a text message to WHERE (94373) with a keyword and your location. For example, H02458 will send you the Hotels near 02458.

Premium Service: Send a text message to WHERE (94373) with your desired search and the premium service will automatically locate you and deliver results based on your location.

What kinds of things can I search for?

You can search for the following categories of businesses:
Restaurants, Coffee Shops, ATMs, Gas Stations, and Hotels

How long does it take to receive a message?

You should receive a text message within a couple of minutes. The actual delivery time will vary depending on your wireless carrier.

Can I use WHERE outside the U.S.?

No. At this time, WHERE services are only available within the U.S.

How do I unsubscribe?

At anytime, you can text the word STOP to 94373 to discontinue the service.
